Josef Tětek is an economist and expert in Bitcoin and its security. He has been dedicated to this field for many years. Since 2021, he has been collaborating with Trezor, the manufacturer of the first hardware Bitcoin wallet of the same name. In the same year, he began providing consultancy services in the area of Bitcoin security. He is the author of the books “Bitcoin: The Separation of Money and State” (2021) and “Bitcoin: The Return of Sound Money” (2023). Josef is also the creator of the podcast “Stackuj” (in Czech), which focuses on Bitcoin and money. He regularly gives lectures on topics such as Bitcoin and self-custody, working with passphrases, multisignature setups, or advanced seed management.
