Jan Jílek
Jan has been working in the legal profession since 2017. In 2021, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University with a Master’s degree. Since the same year, he has been part of the law firm Blockchain Legal.
In his practice, he primarily focuses on contract law and corporate law. Thanks to his long-term experience in the field of technology law, he also has in-depth knowledge of both the legal and practical aspects of crypto-assets, which he is engaged in both professionally and out of personal interest. He understands the issues of decentralized projects, smart contracts, and compliance in the digital asset space not only from a legal perspective but also in terms of their technological and business functioning.
His approach to clients is characterized by clarity, quick understanding of specific issues, and a focus on practical solutions tailored to the specifics of each case. He views legal advice as a tool for achieving concrete goals — not as an end in itself or a mere interpretation of legal provisions.
During his practice, he has been involved in particular in:
drafting complex contractual documentation in the fields of IT, new technologies, and crypto-assets;
establishing companies and implementing corporate changes, including setting up shareholder relationships;
providing legal support for crypto projects, including advice on regulation and compliance.
